browning 22lr belgium made semi auto

s is engraved on the trigger cant located seriel number i have had since the 50's . on stock bottom #38813, has adjutable rear wheel sight and front post sight. i would like to find out the value and where to search for seriel number

    Look inside the hole at the rear of the stock where the plunger goes in. The value depends on the guns overall condition. from $200-$800.

    I CHECKED WHERE THE PLUNGER IS NO NUMBER JUST THE NUMBER I MENTIONED IT IS A TEAR DOWN MODEL BROWNING 22LR SEMI AUTO. I AM GOING TO CLEAN IT AND MAYBE I CAN FIND A NUMBER

    Those guns had the serial numbers stamped in different places, including the butt stock. 38813 shows to be 1958.

    The Serial No. for my Browning ATD is on the bottom side of the barrel just ahead of the for stock - very small, I highlighted it with white crayon

    Wheel sight guns were'nt marked there.
