I have 4 old weaver scopes that I have accumulated over the years all of which need repair. Is there someone out there that can rebuild these or is it just not practical?

I like weaver scopes, they are well made. I would repair them. Here is the name of the outfit to contact...Iron Sight Inc. They have a webpage. I think it was $60 for a fixed power scope and $75 for a variable power. I think they only service the Weavers made in USA.
