Argentine Mauser 1891

Could someone please refer me to a website where I might be able to cross reference my serial # to age/date of manufacture for my new purchase: Mauser Modelo Argentino 1891 - Serial #A3770?!?![:D]

    If your concerned if it would be classified as a antique by the feds, here is the skinny.

    I thought those manufactuted by DWM may or may not have been manufactured after 1899.

    Mine is a DWM and has a serial number of S 5645. Anyone know when it was manufactured?

    Maalox, I have it saved on my hard drive, still can't remember where I found it. It's only a partial list, but includes '91 Rifles and Carbines, and '09 Rifles and Carbines by plant manufacture.
    I think I posted it on the Mauser Central Archives, I'll have to look.

    Thank you very much. I was reading today in Gun Digest that Loewe changed their name to DWM in 1896. I guess they didn't produce any Mausers between 1896 and 1899?
