Desert Eagle Jam Ups

I have a desert eagle 44mag and a friend has the 50ae. at the range both jams tried all that i know cleaning, no lube and de
ifferent amounts of gun oils also dri slide,lock wrist lump wrist,next will be lube the ammo what am i doing wrong. watched some clips on U Tube and they seem to be having the same problem.

    Well, I have had the 357 and 44 mag,,,both needed a powerful round to cycle,,,the correct round and neither ever quit...maybe hotter ammo,,,a thought..nambu

    i have used lot of different kind of ammo and some do work better than others i was thinking that it may be the gas chamber are piston but i don't know how to change any thing about them.

    1st. No lead. Lead will clog up the gas ports and will cause the gun to malfunction. If this happens it has to be sent back to the manufacturer. Hotter loads are a must. I had a 357 DE that I tried what we considered at the upper end of medium loads for a revolver in it and it would not cycle. When I could buy the Isreali Samson ammo in the blue and white boxes it worked great.

    The gas port on these is very small and next to impossible to clean. Soak it overnight to remove powder and metal fouling, blow it out with compressed air and soak it overnight again.

    As nambu stated, these need fairly hot loads. I have a .357 that is about 95% with Federal High Velocity JSP. It is about 75% with standard velocity .357.

    You may be seeing some copper fouling (or just powder) with JSP or JHP rounds. I use Barnes CR-10 to soak mine.

    leeblackman it extract the shell and jam on the feed most times, but sometimes it does not fully extract thats why i think its the gas ports going to try soaking over night and compressed air.WHAT IS THE BEST SOAKING SOLUTION and i do not shoot lead but i have shot hollowpoints with the tip not jacketed
