Charter Arms Undercover cyln stop broken?

Is the cyln stop on the Undercover .38 a press fit? Can it be set with "Lock-Tite"? Mine is somewhat loose and turns out of alignment binding the cylnder. Is a new part in order? Can I Install it myself?

  That's a factory defect that Charter should make good on if you want to go to the expense of shipping.
  Give them a call and try and get another. You could be lucky and find the part is undersized and not the hole being oversized.
  Try a permanent LocTite after carefully degreasing the hole and cyl stop.
