Awhile back I bought a 1976 Winchester M-94 in VG for $350. Just a couple of weeks later I acquired in a trade another 1972 M-94. Not quite as nice as the 76, but IMO in Good + condition. Basically had about $100. in this one.
Yesterday I traded them both for a 1957 M-94 in VG condition. I'm pretty tickled. What say you?

If you're happy, you did okay.

It's like buying a car--immediately after you buy it, someone will say, "Gee, you could have gotten it cheaper at ......". They never, ever, tell you before you buy.

    Congrats--you did good.

DPMS makes a good rifle. You should be very happy with it. With the prices of today I think you did fine.

I just got a new DPMS bull sweet 16 for 860 including shipping, it comes with 2 30 round magazines, a sling, and a cleaning kit. I'm new to AR's but I did my research and it seemed like a good deal.

Do you think I did allright?

Its a good price for that gun, if that's what you are asking.
You definitely could have paid more for it, that's for sure.

Assuming you like the gun, you did fine.

Could you have paid less for it?

Maybe. . .(maybe not). . .though I strongly doubt you'd have been able to get a new one for significantly less than what you paid, especially if you consider transfer fees, and the value of your time.

EG, how many hours do you want to spend searching on the internet, calling dealers, arranging transfers, etc to save $15?
