I am not sure if you are interested but have you considered having a custom sling made? We have Kings Saddlery (Kings Ropes)here and they do a great job with leather. I see we are quite a distance from you but there might be some leather shop near you that would/could make one to your specifications, personalized, and would be a one-of-a-kind that only you would own. Just a thought. 0 -
Branching out on what Coledigger said, you might try going to an art/craft show and talking 1 on 1 with a leathersmith. You might end up with a friend as well as a unique sling.
