Browning a bolt & leupold scope question:

I have a chance to get a 243 Browning A bolt in stainless w/syn stock.
Also a Leupold scope VXII 3-9x40.
Is the rifle a good one? opinions needed. Price $699
How about the scope. Asking price $300
This would put me into it for over $1000

    Good products, too much money.
    Spend some time on the auction side and see what's there. You'll find a lot of good options for less money.
