ithaca sxs 12ga

I'm looking for information on an ithaca side by side 12 ga serial number 444955. It has extensive engraving on the receiver which was case colored with about 20% left on it, the stock has a splinter fore end with a catch instead of a screw to secure it. Both fore end and pistol grip have point pattern checkering that is somewhat flattened with age and overall stock is solid as well as action though this gun has seen years of use. Any info as to model possible value range and age would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Hello Look above this post at sticky telling you how to post pictures That is needed to give you any Idea but in the mean-time remove the barrels by first removing forearm then when you open carefully remove barrels and tell us about any marks on the action parts that are hidden when the barrels are closed this is called the WATER TABLE these marks will tell us what GRADE the shotgun is.

    Its a NID mfg 1927. Like the rest said need pics to give value or you can look up on auction side and try to get and average on price.
