Winchester Super 2x Barrel

Hello,

I have a Winchester Super X2 chambered in 3 1/2". I want to buy a cantilever slug barrel for this gun. I was wondering if I can use the 2 3/4" or 3" barrel with it if I only intend to shoot 2 3/4" slugs.
