Ruger Mini 14 Sight Apeture

Hey I recently picked up a ruger mini 14. I know i have seen rear sight apecures before that were actchualy more like a half of an apecture the sides sloping into the center hole and no metal on the top. Looks a lot similar is some ways to what ya see on a older ruger 10 22. Anways i guesse i could always just modify the one thats in it now byt cutting the top off so its open on the top like a to 22 sight but id rather just buy one like what i want. Anybody have any idease? And also it has one of those scope mounts that has the difrent die plate that the scope mount screwd to so the receiver doesnt need to be taped and u can still use the metal sights. Anybody know of a a system that mounts directly to the receiver but will still let me use the standard sights on it?

    Check with Ruger and B-Square.

    I have a XS Sights rear aperture that has a .140 hole. You can use it the way it is or cut it off and save the original to put back on.
    I want $20+shipping for it. It's new in the package.
