    Hey folks,

I have a Remington 141 pump in 35 that I want to sell. It is a factory carbine and the date of manufacture based on the markings is October 1936. My grandfather was a dentist in a small town in Missouri and the story goes that someone traded him this rifle for dental work during the depression era. It is in vg++ condition; some minor wear but no rust. The wood looks great.

any idea what the value is?

Probably in the $300-500 range depending on exact condition and where you live. The 32 is one of the lesser valued early Remington's due to lack of ammo availability. Check the auction side - there's a lot of them you can judge from.

But then, there's a guy on GunBroker who has one worth (he says) $1245. [:0][:D] Maybe you've got a "special one" like his.
