stamped pretty heavy VZ24 22-250 bull barrel

    Custom made rifle this is NOT the barrel That came on this receiver. IT may be worth very little or a good number of $$ depending on the quality of who put all the parts together. We would need close-up in focus detailed pictures to give you more then a WAG.

    Yes sir i understand, i was just looking at some barreled actions up
    for bid this one is a sporter model. I no nothing about them, but
    if i get this one bought for what i have offered, i can play with it.
    it does not look like anyone has spent a bunch of time on it, maybe
    just building a shooter.

    The receiver itself is VERY High quality if in good condition .

    The VZ-24 action was one of the best 98 Mauser ever made, bar none..

    VZ-24 is a good strong, well finsished out action. I have one in 7x57 and another in 6mm-284 and another that's original. I got the last one because I took a complete one to make the 7x57...didn't think better at the time. I also didn't realize how good they were in regular military furniture.

    I personally think they are smoother than the standard K98's.

    Anyhow, if you can share some pics with us. As much as I like the originals (a lot), I love how some people have customized these.
