Remington 572 Stock Question
Can I change the Model 572 Monte Carlo stock to a straight comb stock?
The Model 572 is offered with a Monte Carlo stock, which allows you to use a scope more comfortably. If you wish to change to a straight comb stock, we do offer an 870 20 ga stock that is interchangeable with the Model 572.
This info is from the Remington website. Does this mean it is interchangeable with any 870 20 ga stock or is there a certain one it is interchangeable with? Is there a better place to find this stock as I am having some difficulty finding one?

Sir: Just went through this. The 572BDL smooth bore has a straight comb stock. My SB had a cracked stock and they sent me a 7400 Monte Carlo it did fit but my head was to high, sent it back and they sent me 1100 20ga stock and fix great. My 572 was under warranty and Remington was great to work with!! I think they sent the 1100 to match the checkering on the forearm of the 572. So if you have a BDL they fix. I don't know about the 870, Hope this helped and made sense. If not let me know. 0
