i have a realitive who has a 7.7 jap rifle that when he got it some one had tried to sprotorize it by cutting the stock and cutting and grinding off the sights. so he made it his own and tapped it and put a scope on it. he says it looks like the "mum" is still on the top of the reciever. with the other stuff that was done to this rifle. if it still has the mum on it does it still retain any value?

    Unfortunately it has little or no value to a military rifle collector, other then for the unscrewed with parts that can be salvaged off of it.

    WHEW,,, grinding off sights,,,maybe 50 bucks for what parts are left..imo..nambu
