What pistol is this?
I bought this at a flea market. It appears to be made of brass with steel parts. The only markings I see is 7676 stamped in the barrel channel. It appears that the barrel would slide in from the front, fitting in a groove in the bottom of the barrel grove. Any info on maker, parts, value, pictures, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks, Gunswapper

There are some real experts here (I'm not one) but you are going to have to post good clear pictures to get any kind of answer. 0 -
That is the very rare and valuable Webley-Vickers .50-80. [:D]
Seriously, your inquiry is too vague, sort of like: "I bought this car. It has wheels and an engine, and numbers 7676 stamped on it. What is it?"
Pictures would help a lot.0 -

The experts here are good, but so far as I know, none of them are clairvoyant.
No pictures, no answer.
Directions on how to post pictures are given in the "sticky" at the top of the Ask the Experts page.0 -

1) You need to make the picture larger
2) You need to shore more detail (closeups)
3) It looks more like a long gun frame than it does a handgun frame (looking at the tang shape)0 -
AAAHHHH!!! I forgot to read the added info in the posting directions!! Thanks, Gunswapper. 0 -

It appears the action of either a rifle or shotgun rather then a handgun.0
