Can you identify this bayonet?
I says Slaz42 in the wood. 1907 1 on the blade. D 40420 on back of handle. There are a few more marks on the blade as well.

Looks like an M-1917 for the US Model 1917 bolt action .30 cal rifle. 0 -

Frontiersman101....you have the classic British Pattern 1907 bayonet made for the SMLE Mk III. Slaz marked 1907's were made in the Slazenger factory in Sidney Australia and have 1942, 1945 and 1955 dates. Many of these bayonets were refurb and used by the British soldiers in Korea in the 1950's. Hope this helps! Good shooting! 0 -

Aussie collectors might pay big bucks for this. I bought a Lithgow 1907 bayo & scabbard for $40. a few years back at a flea mkt. Sold it online for $180. + shipping to an Aussie. Shipped it to Australia. A bidding war broke out on it. 0
