375/444 Marlin ..... 375 JDJ ?
Is a 375/444 Marlin and a 375 JDJ the same round?
I am looking for 375 JDJ dies and am not having any luck finding them but keep coming upon the 375/444 marlin dies.
Any ideas?
Thanks for any and all help.

EhlerDave,
The JDJ line of chamberings were developed by SSK Industries for use in custom single shot pistol barrels such as the Thompson Encore. The line is proprietary and SSK Ind. doesn't sell the chamber reamers or allow others to make them for sale. They supply the barrels, ammo, dies, & components. I don't know whether they pattented the dimentions or just copyrighted the name, but if you want dies with JDJ on them, they have to come from SSK Ind.

In the following article, www.lasc.us/bellmWhyRechamber.htm Mr. Bellm refers to the two as "375X.444 aka 375jdj"
One of the things that make me go "Hmmmmmm!"
