If it's post-1964, it probably came from the factory like that. [:D]

C'mon Spider, they weren't THAT bad........or were they?

about the rifle in question, what color did he paint it? selling price would be influenced by color. pink would be a $50 gun, black is $74 and walnut brown $85.
yellow, lime green, orange and purple means he has to pay you to take the gun.[:o)]

I'd give $100 if it was blue and orange. [:D]

I'd give $125 if it was Crimson and White.[:D][:D][:D]

Don't know what color, but probably black. I'll take a look at it and make the determination. I know he gave $125 for three broken guns (1 Ruger Single Six, the Win. and a Win 370).

I was with the guys on price until "the firing pin falls out..."

If he's a friend, he will give it to you. If he wants money, I'd walk away, from him and the rifle. Unless you are a gunsmith or a machinist, it will cost more than the rifle is worth to make it shootable.

Neal, He hasn't done an inspection on the 94. Going by what the seller told him. It could be the lever retaining pin (also hold the firing pin), or broken firing pin. Like I said, I'll check it out.
