m1991A1 Series 80
Due to the theft of my range bag,I now have a colt m1991 A1 series 80 w/a dedicated .22 upper. My question is: What slides/complete upper assemblies will work properly on my full size frame/government model? Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks, RTB

UNLESS you take out the series 80 frame parts you will have to have a series 80 slide if you take out these parts See Brownell's catalog . they have the correct replacement parts then you will be able to use any slide.
EDITIt would fit the frame rails However the dusk cover May stick out past the Muzzle [:(] NOTE I have never tried this combination as ALL my 1911's are full size I have owned Commanders and tried the swap frame deal on those. I carry a full size 1911 when I feel it is the best under the probable conditions and a Remington P51 other times0 -
