Shell not ejecting, tried different shell makers. Replaced O- ring that was ordered from Smith & Weson out of Texas.

The "O ring" is a flat rubber shock absorber, that dissolves over time from the oil and bore solvent. When it's gone, the gas piston pin slams into the bottom of the slot on the mag tube. The bottom of the slot expands and hangs up the action bar, causing the gun to stop cycling.
The correct fix would be to replace the mag tube and and rubber shock absorber. But there are no replacement mag tubes available, and they are epoxied into the receiver.
I've had success on several that were not too badly damaged, carefully stoning the raised spots on the mag tube until the action bar slides freely over it.
www.e-gunparts.com has replacement shock absorbers that are oil and solvent resistant.0 -
Ive had a number of these were the O ring has dissolved and found its way onto the piston and the inside of the mag tube. Takes #9 and some time but this kept the mag tube from getting banged up. WAG 0 -

WAG, That black goop could double for road paving!
Carb cleaner is the only thing I found that would soften it up enough to scrub out of the mag tube.
KJHALL, I forgot to add that if the action bar does slide freely over the tube, and the gun still doesn't cycle, the gas valve is a dead player.0
