WW 2 Pistol
My Dad give me a pistol he got in the war on the side it has Pistole Modell 27 Kal.7.65 and down the top is BOHMLISOHE WAFFENFABRIK A.G. in PRAG can any one tell me about this gun I would post some pictures but I guest you can't on here.

Nice pistol if you go to the top of this forum and look at post labeled STICKY and you are good whit computers it will tell you how to post pictures using Photo-Bucket. or other sites. Most likely used buy German army but made in another country That I can't spell CH[?][?][?][?] 0 -
It's a Czechoslovakian made .32 Caliber pistol, know to collectors as the CZ 27. Hundreds of thousands were made for the Germans after the took over Czechoslovakia in the late 30's. It's one of the more common souvenir pistols that were brought back from Europe by our GI's.

SOunds like a CZ27 built during the German occupation. There are a few collector niches for these pistols, but the common examples in good shape bring $200-$250. 0 -
ranchboyusa...you need to go over this pistol carefully with a glass to examine its markings. Without photos we can't tell from your description just what you have. Perryshooter has given advice on posting photos which you should follow (what do you mean about "...not on here)? Certainly you can, and should. Having said that, the CZ 27 was adopted by the German Army (as were most well made Czech made weapons) and most of those that were accepted have the German Waffen mark on the right side chamber on on the top of the slide. From your description of BOHMLISCHE (sic), you have an earlier variation of which there were two variations and it sounds like to me that yours was the more common first variation, of which over 200,000 were produced. But, again, w/o photos we are at a loss to predict value as it depends on condition. The weapons serial # would help with identification as over 455,000 were produced totally and the # would help to decide where in the production cycle your father's pistol was produced.
