.41 black powder derringer

I have a black powder .41 caliber derringer (at least that is what I was told recently that I bought about 35 years ago. It has no brand but on the right side it has what appears to be 4 flowers and a lightning bolt and it has been etch around the edge. Does anyone know what brand or manufacturer might have done this and approximate age.
