Pentax scopes

Does anyone have any experience with Pentax scopes and what type of quality would you rate them? I have a chance to pick one up on a trade and was wondering if it is a useful optic.

    Can anyone offer their opinion on Pentax scopes? A large sports business is selling a Pentax Gameseeker 4-12x40mm for 68.00. Sounds good if the scopes are any good.I always value your input. thanks dave

    Pentax always made great optics for cameras, every bit as good as Nikon. I would expect that their scope glass is also first class.

    I was looking through my Gameseeker this evening.I can't believe how it pulls in light.I could see deer clearly that were just a dark blur to the naked eye.I think its a great scope and the Precision Plex reticle works great.

    The Pentax Lightseeker is awesome. It cost quite a bit more, but I have never seen a scope that let in that much light.

    I stopped into the Burris company here in Greeley 3 weeks ago to pick up some scope covers. As I was getting a mini tour I came to the "returns for warrenty"room and there were boxes of Pentax scopes. Burris makes these under the Pentax name I was told....Very nice scopes in my opinion...Bull

    I have a few including a 1.5 to 5X on a DSA FAL. It has some sort of grid on it, helps me hit the steel pigs & such out to 600 yds. I'm very happy with the scope.

    Nice scopes, I have a light seeker, but these days I buy Burris Signature Select.

    Burris makes the pentax scopes,..sit them side by side and it is easy to tell.

    YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, especially in optics. I worked in a gun shop a few years ago, we couldn't give them away. Mabey on a low end gun??? HAWKSHAW

    For the price, the glass is good but could use more eye relief for my old eyes.
