Winchester 70 classic
I want to put aside a few spare parts for a Model 70 Classic. This is one of the "new" (1990's) controlled feed rifles and not much detailed information seems to be available for these guns. So far I haven't been able to find a parts list with part numbers. Does anyone here know if or which parts will interchange with the pre-64 rifles? This one is a long action in .30-06 with the BOSS and it shoots like a dream, although the BOSS makes it very loud.

I have a 90's "Winchester" 70 Classic in .30-06. I love this gun. It has the optional BOSS system, and is a mild-recoiling tack driver (.75 or better groups with 165 gr. handloads).
My problem is finding parts or even information for this rifle. I know that most parts are not interchangeable with the pre-64 rifles, but are any? And which ones? Is there a parts source for these guns? Midway, Numrich, Brownells, Bob's, etc. don't even mention this rifle. Are they really that strange? Does anyone have a link to a parts list with part numbers?
I would like to pick up a spring set, extractor, ejector, and other parts. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there with this gun.0 -

Try searchig a little differently when you go to the Numerich site. Go on the left side and click on type search you want to do. Some stuff is listed as two words and won't come up if you don't have the exact verbiage down.
