Remington 31 12 gauge barrel replacements

Hello all, Newbie to shotguns and my first is a model 31 from 1947 with the 30" solid rib full choke and no cracks to the wood. I feel lucky to have it. [:D] One problem is that a local indoor range is the only place I have to shoot at the moment and they only allow slugs.

I've been looking to get additional barrels that will fit it in other chokes, a slug barrel (top priority), etc ... Were there ever any barrels made by Remington or anyone else other than the model 31 that will fit this gun. Or anyone have a good line on where I could try for an available. Would it be possible to use a plain cylinder (by this I mean no choke and smooth interior of the barrel - hope I have the term right) with rifled slugs or any type of slug?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    you can find an i c barrel for it. never seen a slug barrel for one.shoot me a email im in maryland & may have something for you.

    you CAN shoot slugs through a f.c. barrel (foster type, standard rifled slugs that is) and they MAY work well.
