Question about an Ithaca 16 gauge double barrel
I bought an Ithaca 16 gauge double barrel shotgun and I am trying to figure out a fair value. It is in great shape, only the usual wear. The stock is not original, but the grip is the original. Everything seems to be in good working order. The serial number is 274992. Any ideas?

I am confused.
You say you bought it, do you not think you paid fair value?0 -
The serial number indicates that it is a 1916 vintage Flues Model, and because it is not 100% factory original, that greatly diminishes the collector value. If it has short chambers (2-9/16"), that greatly diminishes its appeal to the shooters. The last knock it has going against it is the gauge... 16-gauge guns simply do not have a big following.
Based on your limited description, and the information I have provided, most people would balk at anything over about $250.0
