Can anyone tell me if cold blue will work on stainless steel parts? I have a Smith stainless ejector rod that I wish were blue. Thanks....BT

  i have about ten guns that need reblueing. these were in a room that was flooded. most are shotguns, rem 1100 browning a5 win mod 42. can anyone recommend a gunsmith that can do a factory quality blue at a fair price?

  I have used three in recent months for pistols. The best combination of quality of job, price and turnaround time was fordsguns.com. There are a lot more of them out there if you do a google or bing search.

  thanks 24. i have talked to several shops about these guns. most want to make them look like weatherbys and just want a standard factory type job. i will contact fords tomorrow.
