I have a very heavy barrled Winchester 52, serial # 65609 B. Is this a 52B?

    Yes that's what the B stands for at the end of the SN

    Thanks much. I will be listing it on the auction side. Any suggested starting price? It has scope mounts , a Globe front site, real heavy stock, Aluminum thingy on forearm, etc.

    You say it has a "very heavy barrel". You should measure it prior to listing it. If it's 3/4" diameter at the muzzle it's a Target barrel. If it's 7/8" dia at muzzle it's a Bull barrel. While they were listed as a standard feature after 1933, the Bull barrel was by far the less seen barrel. Also make sure you have good pics of the sights as they will make a big difference in $$.
