Rossi Single shot riffle in .357 mag

I bought this gun Sunday at a gun and knife show and I have a question about what kind of ammo this thing can shoot. It just says .357. All the guns I have ever seen say 357/.38 Spec. So my question is can I shoot .38s out of it? Also can It handle +P ammo in both rounds?

  It should handle +P in both loads just fine. Anything that can shoot 357mag can shoot 38spec with no problems. The rifle looks fairly well built also.

  If you shoot lots of 38 you may get some build up in the chamber - just give it a good scrubbing before shooting 357 in it.

  If you don't clean the chamber well enough the fired case may stick and require a cleaning rod down the bore to remove it. By the way, there is no +P 357 mag. It's all +p.
