I know the reputation of the Jennings J22, but I'm trying to find if anyone knows a source to date one by its serial number. The junker in question has S/N 354580. Thanks.

  bluebook puts the company from 1978-1985 feel that is about the closest your going to get to a date..i have a ffl transfer slip dated to 91 but this was a later than mfg transfer from one party to another...no listings for serial numbers found

  The only Jennings i've ever seen had the serial numbers ground off.....sorry,[:I] i couldn't resist.
  I think the current owner is Jimenez. perhaps they got all the old records when they bought the company. (?)
