returning to search results
I put in a search like "Marlin Golden 39" into either search, top of page or home search.
Results are listed.
I see one I want to look at.
I click it.
I look over the rifle. I ask a question.
HOW DO I GET BACK TO MY LIST OF SEARCH RESULTS WITHOUT USING MY BROWSER'S 'BACK'?
If I use my browsers back button then I've got to go back through my question and everything else I viewed.
Isn't there a button on every page to return to search results like Ebay or most other sites have?
Thanks for helping me.

Click on the Smart Search button, top right of the home page.

Nope, thanks but that does not return me to the search results like I was asking about.
ANYBODY ELSE?0 -
If you are signed in or asked to sign it re sign in and it works hitting the back button I just tried it. The new version seems to have some hacks as I have to sign it even if I've already signed it. But I did send a question and the hit back several times to get to the original search 0 -
HELLOOOO....
Please.
One more time. [I already know the answer, THERE IS NO 'RETURN TO SEARCH RESULTS' on this site]
But maybe someone will understand my question.
It does not matter if your logged in or out of this Gunbroker site, NOT THESE FORUMS, this site. The Gunbroker auction site.
If anyone comes to GUNBROKER.COM they will arrive at the home page which is the auction site, NOT THESE FORUMS, the auction site homepage.
WHEN THEY DO, THEY WILL LOOK FOR A PRODUCT IF THEY USE SEARCH, EITHER SEARCH, THE ONE AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE OR THE SMART SEARCH, IT DOES NOT MATTER.
Say they put 'gun' in either search slot or whatever you call the spot that you key in your search term.
They will get many pages of search results.
They can go down the list till they find something they want and then they click on the product and look at it.
HOW WILL THEY GET BACK TO THEIR SEARCH RESULTS, THOSE MANY PAGES OF SEARCH RESULTS, IF THEY DO NOT USE THEIR BROWSER BACK BUTTON??
HOW WILL THEY GET BACK TO THEIR SEARCH RESULTS, THOSE MANY PAGES OF SEARCH RESULTS, IF THEY DO NOT RE KEY IN THEIR ORIGINAL SEARCH TERM, 'gun'??
Can any one help me?
Thanks.
Edit to say...I KNOW I SOUND LIKE A IMPATIENT YOUKNOWHAT! LOL
I don't mean to. I do appreciate you two fella's trying to help.
It's just tough trying to figure out how to say it where everyone will understand.
So thanks, guys.
Does anyone know how to simplify my searches on here?
It gets especially bad when I find a product close to what I'm looking for. Then I ask a question of the seller, then I want to go back to searching again. I've got to hit my browser back button a half dozen times or rekey the original search terms back in [gun] and start from scratch on the list again.
Most sites have somethuing like; Home-search-gun-product-question-sent at the top of any page and all I'd do is hit -gun- again. But not here.

Are you using "version 2" ???? 0 -
The back buttom severaql times works for me after a search and after a question sent about an item show from the search. I just did it again 0 -
I always use the browser back button. Is there a reason you need another option? 0 -

YEAH, me too. But use eBay as an example.
You search.
You get a list.
You click on item in that list.
You ask a question.
AT EVERY PAGE IN THIS PROCESS YOUR PROVIDED WITH A LINK TO RETURN YOU DIRECTLY TO THE SEARCH RESULTS.
Here, as soon as you leave the search results, YOU HAVE TO REENTER THE ORIGINAL SEARCH TERMS TO GET BACK TO THE LIST YOU STARTED AT.
If there are 10 pages of results from the search and your on page 5 of the results then you've got to hit your browser back button 15 or 20 times [it seems] to ever get back to where you left the list. Maybe not quite that many times BUT WAY TOO MUCH.
If you ask a question then your asked to sign in and everything else and then you've got to go back THROUGH your question to ever get back to the list.
IT IS EXTREMELY REDUNDANT AND TIME CONSUMING if your looking, for instance, a Model 12 Winchester barrel [only] in order to make a trench gun outta your shotgun.
There's at least ten pages of results I've got to sift thru before even finding just a barrel. Then ask a question, then I may as well just reenter model 12 winchester barrel into the search AGAIN as go thru all the 'back' pages my browser will take me thru.
I LOVE THIS SITE!
I'm here all the time looking for or at this or that.
And I'm not lazy.
I just figured I must be missing something somewhere...
Thanks for your time though.0
