What gun will shoot 200 yards accuratly out of the box?

  Message: I need help or opinion/experience.winchester 1300 pump or remington 870. which is the better choice? I will be hunting from a tree stand- shots at about 100 to 200 yards.whith 4x pro diamond by simmons.

  Maybe Tarhunt custom bolt slug guns. Cost $2000 and up..

  ithica's deerslayer or the new remington slug gun with pinned barrel might be two to do some unbiased research on... Another one too look into is a thomson center contender with a rifled barrel.
  
  
  The only way to make a shotgun shoot accurately that I know of is to pin the barrel into the reciever and then port it to take as much stress off the pins during recoil as possible....

  Don't know about 200 yds. Browning A-Bolt will at 150 yds. if you can find one expext it to be pricey,

  Since your username is what it is, I'll say forget the slug gun and go with a muzzleloader. If your state allows smokeless powder, get a Savage. Now your talking about a 250 yard gun at least.
