Marlin Model 60 shotgun
Hello everyone, just picked up a Marlin model 60 12 ga single shot shotgun. Tried to find out some info on line with poor results. Only info I got was they made then from 1923 to 1927. Does anyone know anything about these? Or maybe were there is some place on line that has info on these?
Any info would be great.
Thanks

The only Model 60 Marlin shotgun I could find was a .410. The year of manufacture would put it close to the Model 1898 shotgun which was not marked there followed a number of Models that were numbered on the back strap. If it has a open hammer it is most likley one of thess models.A picture would be nice.

Thanks for the reply Emmett. I have photos, but do not know how to post them. The shotgun is 12ga break open single shot. Has a 30in barrel full choke. The serial numbers on the barrel and receiver match. Not much finish left, but it does shoot pretty well. 0
