Touch up blueing?

I did a search on here and the last time anyone brought this up was 5 years ago. What you guys think?

For useful answers it would be helpful to focus the question a bit, such as whether touch-up bluing is effective, worth while, possible-to-do-undetectable, which products are best, most durable. etc.

This is discussed here about every month look at search reblue Cold Blueing etc. For the most part you can hide a very small spot but if say this is a collector gun a sharp eye will be able to tell it has been touched up . For the most part if the gun is yours and you are going to keep it then go ahead and try cold blueing but if this is a collector gun and you try a touch up it will hurt the value better to leave as is. YMMV
