Milwaukee Gun Co.
My grandfather left me an old 20 gauge shotgun when he passed and the only information i have on it is Milwaukee Gun Co. stamped on the side and A 7061 stamped undernieth. I have been unable to find any information on the gun on other sites. Any information on value or timeline of this gun would be great. Thanks

Do Me a favor, Take the Gun Down and tell Me if there is an Oval with the letters E over LG in the center stamped under the Barrel/s or on the Water Table on the Frame.....You can email Me direct if you wish......Best 0 -
CaptKirk. No need to look for the Belgian proof marks. I can confirm the gun was made by Hopkins & Allen. Just don't know who sold it. 0 -
I did not see any of the marks. Any idea on value though? 0 -

I didn't see any comment on what type the gun is so I'm going to guess it's a single barrel break open breech loader. The value of any old "Trade Brand Name" shotgun depends on its condition the amount of original finish left on the metal and wood as well as the mechanical condition. Values for single barrels can range from a high of $100 for one that appears to have come out of the factory yesterday afternoon (few qualify for this condition) to less than $10 for a rusty rotten incomplete piece of junk fit only for a tent stake (most fit this condition). Guns in .410 bore will bring a few dollars more.0
