1957 Model 94 SCR - Question

The rifle is said to be seldom fired and in excellent condition with the wood in top condition and the bluing near perfect. The photos would tend to support this. I'm wondering how collectible this rifle is and if the asking price of $450.00 is reasonable?

  A 1957 vintage Model 94 should not be a SRC. Are you sure of the DOM?

  No I'm not sure of the DOM. And I was questioning in my own mind about that late date being SRC. I'm going to ask for the ser #.

  When I questioned the seller about the late DOM for a SRC and asked for the ser # to verify, he replied; "the stud and ring may have been installed later". So much for that.
