iver johnson pony
Does anyone know the years of manufacture of the Iver Johnson Pony. It is blued, appears to be well made, is a .380, and has the Jacksonville, Arkansas address on the slide.

can anyone tell me about these little 380auto's.were they any good, anywhere to get parts, I just have never had a good Iver Johnson but I have someone wanting to sell me looks like new for $150. I am just shy of any firearm I know nothing about 0 -
IMHO a nice well made for the price 380 may never become a collector item but will serve you well Parts ???? 0 -
Nice, well made gun. They were made by a few different companies.
Mine was marked FI-D. Parts might be hard to find, as they haven't been made in years.0 -
They are variants of the Star DK design. Many Star parts will work.
$150 is a steal. Great litlle guns. The "new" Iver Johnson website says they will resume production of the Pony.0 -

Its an estate gun, wonderful son selling dads guns after dad is gone,Its been in a drawer for years without it being fired,They have no .380 so no one knows if it is broken or why it was stashed away in the drawer,These are not gun people and want them gone. I have already bought several of his guns he was getting rid of then he called me about this one0 -
check the auction side of this site they are going for a lot more. as far as parts, numrich has some and i have enough parts (except for frames, slide, barrels and magazines to build 25 or so. in other words parts are not hard to find.
as far as the iver johnson company they have been saying they are going to reintriduced the 380 pony every since they hve been around (a couple of years).
