Remington 760 question
Was the Remington 760 ever made in 22-250? Guy says he has one that was Remington experimental rifle built on 22-250.

I believe it must have because I have seen one or two here on gunbroker in times past. I have also seen magazines for sale that were for the 760 in 22-250. My guess would be they are mighty far and few between, and would also guess they were the early early models of the 760, perhaps when they had the corn-cob fore-end. 0 -
In doing a rereading of a book by Eugene Myszkowski titled "Remington Autoloading & Pump-action rifles there is no mention of any production or experimental 760's made by Remington for either field testing or regular sales. However there has been some 760's produced at the request of some large distributers, Grice of Clearfield, Pennsylvania being the most noted, in other than standard chambering. But I have never heard of any produced in 22-250 cal. 0 -
I inadvertantly left out "cal .22-250" after my first sentence, My BAD! 0 -
Thanks for the input... I looked on gunbroker and couldn't find anything but that doesn't mean anything. 0
