The links above are the same and even though I looked at the FAQ's for inserting links, I don't think I figured it out, but hopefully you can look at the item and tell me what you think.
The item is a Browning BAR 300 win mag and I won the auction today. It is has black synthetic stock, a compensator and I think in good condition. The serial number starts "137 PN" and according to the Browning website was therefore manufactured in 1989. This morning I thought I had scored a great deal and now I am not so sure. Price was $405. Any thoughts are comments would be appreciated

i think you got a bargain. my BAR in .338 win mag is one of my favorite rifles. that rifle looks like it needs a good cleaning. if you are not familiar with bar takedown it is not easy. the rifle must be taken apart to clean thoroughly. 0 -
