How many rounds have you put through the gun? Are you using reloads? Sounds like a too tight head space problem.

+1 on DSC cases are not proper size for this rifle Either the Rifle has a short chamber OR the ammo was not sized correctly when loaded . My first thing to check would buy another brand of ammo and try factory ammo. If you are trying to shoot reloads then 99% chance the sizing die is not adjusted properly.

+1 on what dcs wrote. If you're using reloads, you will need to screw the sizing die down a little. If it is a new problem and with factory loads, I would check to make sure there is not some debris in the front of the chamber that is binding on the shoulder of the cartridge case. Also, you mentioned that it is a re-barrel: Sone gunsmiths deliberately keep the headspace tight.

    bowhunter31,

The fastest, simple check is to take it to a gunsmith to have the headspace checked with the proper gauge.

If these are reloads, you're doing something wrong with the case sizing.

    Best.

    Bowhunter:

How tight is it? Snug is good in my book.

I prefer my loads to be comfortably snug, but not too tight. This indicates to me that the cartridges will be aligned consistently, which adds to accuracy potential.

As indicated above, a little more sizing in the die should cure a too tight issue, unless it is a headspace issue as Nononsense pointed out.

Also, do you see any marks on the bullets indicating that they are being pushed against the land/rifling? After firing a round, are you seeing any signs of high pressure, such as flattened primers?
