revolvers. i have one that i cant find a serial # on. im not saying its been ground off. i just cant find it. i took the grips off and didnt see anyhting. other then the markings on the barrel the only thing i see is on the backstrap? the part of the fram that fits into the palm of your shooting hand. i see 8750. is that the serial number?

Open the cylinder and look in the frame area by the crane. 0 -
ok wth? now it appears as though the cylender wont open. the latch you pull back on moves, the cylender rotates, the hammer can be cocked. but the cylender wont open up like i want to load it. i dont see any rust anywhere on the pistol. whats that pin called under the barrel that slides into the center of the cylender? looks like its at an odd angle and wont move. 0 -
That pin is the ejector rod. When the cylinder is open you push it to the rear to eject the empty cases from the cylinder. If its bent that might have something to do with why you cant get it open. 0
