WASR AK-47s

are the WASR AK-47s a decent gun and do they accept 30-rd. mags?

    The so called "double stack" ones do accept standard AK mag's. They are Ok as shooters for the money. As with anything you can get good ones and not so good ones. These are selling for around $400-425 at this time.

    I have one, and while I have not put a tremendous amount of ammo through it, it has been a great little gun. Love it.

    thanks for the info. a local sporting goods store is selling the double stack model for $349 for a "doorbuster" sale tomorrow and I was thinking about getting one.

    grab it at that price you wont find it any cheaper (CAI Romanian's)...the stocks however look like they were made of old pallets in a shop class but they do hit center of mass at 100 yards no problem

    Yes, and yes.

    (The single stack ones can be reamed open with a dremel to take double-stack mags, by the way).

    $350 is a good price for a new one.

    Buy it.I love mine,no problems.The problems that come with WASR 10's are easily fixed.I lucked out and didn't have any.I've put a ton of new parts on mine,mostly cosmetic.One of my favorite guns that I have to shoot.The only thing you need to make an AK work is a full magazine.

    For $350.00, you are not going to get one better. Although, there are much better builder's than CAI, and much better parts, but the price is also reflects that. Had the CAI Romak, and will not have another. Contrary to

    That is pure horse hockey! It is next to impossible to fix canted sights, and over ground magazine wells, that both look like they were done by a bubbasmith.
