Who makes hydra shock bullets for federal?
Have been looking all around the web an cant find the info that im looking for.Does anyone know who makes the bullets for federal.Looking for some to reload for my delta.If i cant find any what would be a good second choice.I have some 200 grain xtps all loaded up but would like to try some thing different to.

Best I can tell, Federal makes their own Hydrashok bullets. They used to advertise them for sale but never delivered. 0 -
I went with the XTPs in 9mm when they came out as the closest thing available to the hydroshocks. Don't know what caliber you are loading. The 185 gr XTP performed well for me in a 44 Mag on a 6pt at 75 yds this weekend. In high just behind a shoulder and out just in front of the opposite should blade. 0 -
I believe Federeal makes them. Some years ago I got a box of 45 230g component bullet Hydra-Shoks from Midway USA. When I went back to get more they no longer sold them. On the side of my box it has info on the Hydra Shok bullets as well as the Nyclad bullets (they haven't sold these for awhile either). So some calibers ARE out there.
XTP's are good and you should still be able to get Remington Golden Sabers.0 -
