Need help Identifying Bulgarian AK bayonet
I've got a Bulgarian AK bayonet that I can't identify. It looks superficially like a garden variety 1990 pattern AK74 bayonet. It is back with the double ring 10 marking on the plastic pommel and scabbard. It has a silver painted "E" on the grip and the same "E" plus a "1" on the scabbard. It differs from the 1990 pattern in the method of attachment. The locking catch is on the blade-end of the grip, near the muzzle ring. The pommel has a partial ring (with an open top) like some earlier Bulgarian AK 47 bayonets. Anyway, it doesn't fit on anything I own, and I don't know what it is for. Can anybody help me?
