Browning 1922
Just curious why there is a difference in the Nazi marked 1922's. Those with the WaA140 marks are not as valuable as those with the WaA613 or WaA103 marks. They are the same gun just serial numbered at different times.
I recently found one with the WaA140 Nazi markings in a solid 85% condition. I'm just curious of any detail or better description regarding the markings.
Any and all help is appreciated.

Need to know where I could find a set of grips for a Browning 1922. They need to be wood, not hard plastic, and I would like a set that are slightly worn to match the firearm.
I an not find any on the aution side so want to look for alternative sources.

Quite often the Model 1922 with wood grips will be WWII production.
Does it have any Nazi eagle markings (Waffenampts)?
Here is a good summary of the FN 1922:http://www.cruffler.com/historic-may01.html0
