ROMANIAN SKS INTERNAL MAG

i have a romanian sks that has an internal magazine. i want to keep it that way. the problem is that it will not chamber second round after firing. it is like having a single shot rifle. magazine is cleaned and lubed, dont understand why it wont chamber second shot. will work fine if i load 1 at a time. any info/help?

  Might not be a magazine problem. Might be dirt or preservative gumming up the action and not allowing it to cycle. Take it apart and clean it with Gun Scrubbber. Lightly oil it and put it back together. Cycle it by hand and see if the action is less stiff.

  Don't forget to take apart the gas system and clean that too.

  Are you sure it is Romm and Not Yugo? The Yugo have a gass shut off that allows the rifle to be manualy cycled, for launching grenades.
