Gentleman's Flintlock pistol

96th Algoma
I have a damaged flintlock from the Vienna Opera House. It was used as a prop in the 1920's. Quite old, 1700's???. Will be restored. I am looking for info on the maker's marks. Are there any experts out there? Please email me for photos. Thankyou Kindly,

    I checked Stockel and a couple of minor sources, unfortunately, without finding your marks. There are numerous GB and GMs but none close enough to consider. Stockel is the major source of early European firearms markings, in two volumes 1937 and 1943. For such a quality pistol I had hope of finding it, altho the score in the past has been less than 50%

    In Lenk you have probably dated it to around 1725. In my study of your pictures, the barrel has been shortened several inches. Such a gentleman's pistol should have a barrel of 12 to 14 inches.
