Dealer's only forum

Sure wish there was a section in here for FFL dealers only. We need a forum where we as dealers can post and discuss. Sound like a good idea???

    i am all for it as long as everyone has access to the forum, i do not like closed door meetings, i believe closed door meetings create sinister plots....... [:D]

    I don't know if one already exists but you could take it a step further and form a gun dealers association. Get chartered as a non profit group and charge a membership fee and have space for advertising.

    While the forums aren't intended for the trade, you can discuss whatever is on your mind over in General Discussion. We have plenty of dealers on the site (yours truly included).

    To supv26, my question to you is what sort of discussion would you be haveing that would need to be just between dealers?? kinda makes you sound a little shady from here!

    Nothing shady but some non FFL's that don't have a clue as to what it takes to run a business don't really need to be putting in their 2 cents.

    Most customers know that you have to make money to be in business. If we didn't then there wouldn't be any FFL's out there that could do anything for you. Like doctors or lawyers or mechanics, they like to discuss things that others wouldn't understand.

    Looks like you posted your first question over on General Discussion and got plenty of guys happy to chat away with you. Gun Broker is not designed for the trade, it revolves around auction sales, which makes it basically retail oriented. You are not going to get a dealer only forum here and certainly not a forum where participation is restricted only to dealers.

    It does not take much to fire up the gang over on General Discussion. Be careful about hoping for participation because you may get more than you bargained for over there.
