winchester model 1876 barrel lenth?

a man wants to buy my winchester model 1876 in 45-60 in very good con. serial number is 35903, the question i would like to ask is a 30 inch octigon barrel a special order rifle and if so how much would it raise the price(percentage) over a standard rifle in the same con.? thank you eastbank.

  28-inches was the standard length for a Model 1876 in 45-60 W.C.F., so Yes, a 30-inch barrel was a special order. That said, it was not a rare special order, and as such, the premium is very minimal (5% at best).

  thanks bert, it is nice and i realy don,t want to sell it. i was going to add alot to it as a special order and scare him off. i think i,ll just keep it. we don,t see many up here. eastbank.
